REI AMI

REI AMI is a South Korean artist born in Seoul. She started making music in her freshman year of college and quickly became hooked. She self-described her music as “Hello Kitty with a machete”, consisting of an adorable vibe with powerful undertones. The 26 year-old has been inspired by her childhood Studio Ghibli favorite movies and artists like Amy Winehouse. We recommend do it right ft. Aminé, DICTATOR and RICKY BOBBY. (@rei.ami)


Vetta Borne

Described as a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Vetta Borne is certainly a jack of all trades when it comes to the music industry. As a child, music had always been a passion of her’s and her sister’s. She explains her love for music stemming from her family being Filipino and “very musical”, she said. We recommend Girls, Beyoncé and R.I.P.

Celeste

British singer Celeste has been writing and singing since her teenage years. Born in California to Jamaican parents, she specializes her music in genres of soul, alternative R&B and jazz. Her debut album was released in 2021 and debuted at #1 on the UK Albums Chart. Her powerful voice and unique singing style serenades us all. We recommend Strange, Tonight Tonight and Ideal Woman. Rejjie Snow

Alternative hip hop artist Rejjie Snow rose to prominence when his debut EP topped the iTunes Hip-Hop chart in 2013. With Jamaican and Nigerian roots, he moved away to Savannah, Georgia to study film and design, leaving behind his birthplace of Ireland. He moved back shortly with the idea of focusing on his music career, and has been making music since 2012. We recommend Egyptian Luvr, 23 and Mon Amour. (@rejjiesnow)


Jenevieve

At the ripe age of 13 years old, Jenevieve recorded her first song that ended up receiving placement on a TV show. Since that moment, music has been her life’s passion. Her many cultures have influenced her life and music. Maternally, she is Cuban, French and Spaniard, while she is Bahamian and Irish on her father’s side. Her R&B song, Baby Powder, grew to fame when she released it during the pandemic at 22 years old. We recommend Baby Powder, Medallion and Résumé. (@msjenevieve)
